Stayed in a nice size family room with awsome terrace in a beautiful house surrounded by peaceful countryside. The breakfast had a wide array of outstanding food and drinks. Its location around 10-15 minutes walk from Main Entrance was beautiful.

the staff were nice and welcoming, and the atmosphere was family, mainly due to the staff. got brand-new, absolutely perfect room with fan, chairsin, mosquito nets.

We really enjoyed staying in this incredibly beautiful hotel based in a Colonial building. the rooms were good value for money, and the spacious bathroom was a nice touch. the breakfast with toast, jam, fruit, and eggs looked amazing.

The great staff here were very welcoming and accommodating, the location is fantastic, and the food was delicious; plus, there's a lovely hotel nearby called Hotel Delight.

The breakfast had a lot of choices and was delicious, the room was perfect with new furniture like a comfortable sofa, cozy beds, and a mosquito net, plus the location was close to the forest and attractions.

The air-conditioned villa provided a super comfortable stay. The double room with a balcony, air conditioning, and garden view was just perfect! I loved waking up to the soothing sights of the garden. The triple room with a balcony and soundproofing was a great choice for a good night's sleep. The private bathroom boasting a shower was an added bonus!

I personally would have liked the triple room to have a balcony. But hey, that's just my opinion!

We stayed at Sun Shine Villa for 2 nights and had a peaceful, clean and comfortable experience. the staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to help. Breakfast was simple but tasty, and it was a nice touch to have it served on our own table outside our room. the hotel is conveniently located close to the main sites in Sigiriya. the staff made transportation easy by providing access to a tuktuk. We also enjoyed an elephant safari organized by the hotel, which was reasonably priced and memorable. On New Year's Eve, the staff put on a great barbeque and brought guests together to celebrate the new year. 😊.

My stay at Sun Shine Villa was truly delightful. The room was incredibly spacious and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, away from the crowds and nestled in nature. The staff went above and beyond to cater to my vegetarian needs and provided excellent service. The day trip to Polonnarawa and the elephant safari organized by the hotel were unforgettable experiences. The pool was a great way to relax after a day of exploration. I highly recommend Sun Shine Villa for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

We got great value for our money at Sun Shine Villa! The room was spacious, clean, and had a nice view of the garden from the open area. The staff treated us really well, always making sure we had everything we needed and even organizing a lift to Pidurangala rock and bicycles for us to rent. Plus, the local dinner and breakfasts were delicious!
